Purchasing a library license

A license is required to execute a chargeable library on a device.

However, a chargeable library can be downloaded to the PC and used in a PLCnext Engineer project before it is purchased. To do so, proceed as described in the topic Downloading a library file.

To activate the license of a chargeable library, please proceed as follows:

Click the Login / Register button to log in to the PLCnext Store.
For information on registering, refer to the topic Registering.
Click on the name of the library that is of interest to you.

The detail page of the library is displayed.

Make sure that the technical requirements (controller, firmware, I/O modules) for the library are met.
The technical requirements can be found in the "Technical Details" area for the corresponding library.
For further information, refer to the documentation for the library.
Make sure that the PLCnext Engineer software version required for the library is installed on your device.
Click the Buy button.
Select the number of licenses you need.

Read and accept the license agreements by the app provider and click on Continue.

You will be taken to a page with a purchase overview.

Click the Go to payment button.

An external website of the payment service provider, NOVALNET, opens.

Provide all necessary information and click the blue "Pay" button.

We will check your order and accept it after successful verification. In case of our acceptance of your order, you will see a confirmation page and we will send you an emailwith an invoice for the sale.

After you have completed the purchase procedure, your licenses are available in your license pool.

From the license pool you can install the license (and the app) on your device.
