License management
- Purchasing a license:
- You can purchase a license directly from the PLCnext Store.
- You can purchase a license from the Phoenix Contact website. To do this, contact your Phoenix Contact sales department.
- Installing a license:
- You can install the license online (recommended) on your PLCnext Control or on a LIC SD card.
- If you cannot or do not want to connect your devices to the PLCnext Store via the Internet, you can activate licenses offline.
- Uninstalling a license:
- You can uninstall the license online.
- If you cannot or do not want to connect your devices to the PLCnext Store via the Internet, you can deactivate licenses offline.
Inviting and managing your colleagues
If you have created a company in the PLCnext Store, you are automatically the admin of your company. You can invite your colleagues and work together as a team.

Effects of a reset
If you perform a reset, it has various effects on the PLCnext Control, including its apps, licenses, network settings, and PLCnext Store connection.
Removing devices
If you no longer need a device, you can remove it from your device pool.

If you want to replace your device, there are different scenarios to consider, including planned and unplanned device replacement.
