Trial licenses

You can use a trial (demo) license for any paid product in the PLCnext Store. Once this trial license has expired, you can have it extended if required. To extend the license, you must contact the developer of the respective app.

Use a regular trial license 

You can use a trial (demo) license for any paid product in the PLCnext Store. Here are some facts about trial licenses in the PLCnext Store:

• The trial license is valid for 10 days.
• You can only use one trial license once per app.
• A trial license can only be activated on an online device.
• A trial license cannot be activated on a LIC SD Card.
• A trial license can be deactivated, but will not be put back into the license pool.
• Retrieved trial licenses are still displayed on the device.
• If you require a longer trial license, please contact the developer of the app. He will be able to generate a longer trial license for you.

To take a trial license, proceed as follows: 

• Open the app's detail page. 
• Click the 10 DAYS FREE TRIAL button.
• Follow the instructions in the further course of the activation process.

Extend expired trial license

In special cases, you can apply for an extension of an expired trial (demo) license. To do this, proceed as follows: 

• Contact the developer of the respective app (e. g. via the CONTACT DEVELOPER button). 
  He will generate an individual trial code for you. 
• Open the device pool in your PLCnext Store account. 
• Open the device menu and click the MORE button (1).
• Select Activate License via Trial Code (2).
• Follow the instructions in the further course of the activation process.
